Under direct guidance to Vice President – Sales & Distribution, primary responsibility for sales administration, coordination and supervision of the sales department to achieve sales objectives and goals. The main sales objective is to general maximum high yield commercial, corporate business for the hotel in accordance with the specific sales action plan.

  1. Manages sales activities according to marketing directive.
  2. Sets up strategies, tactics and delegate for sales team.
  3. Directs, manages and develops sales team.
  4. Achieves sales objective and goal to generate maximum high yield in accordance with the specific sales action plan.
  5. Divides market into segments, i.e. Tour & Travel, Corporate, MICE, airlines, covered by respective salesperson.
  6. Creates promotions as appropriate of each marketplace in the right timing.
  7. Establishes key accounts key prospect for sales activities, promotions, FAM trips.
  8. Provides Feedback to the corporate office on changing market conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result in general market idea.
  9. Maintains good contact with existing customers.
  10. Attends all training sessions and courses, briefing and meetings as required.
  11. Puts into practice all trainings received relating to job knowledge and skills and the hotel’s culture.
  12. Passes on knowledge and experience to subordinates.
  13. Keeps up with what competitors are doing in the marketplace, ensure our competitiveness at all times.
  14. Maintains a strong working relation and make use of their expertise to maximize sales force and sales coverage in their responsible markets.
